It was not until Mike was 25 when Jesus became the center and focus of his life.  Concerning his time serving New Life, Mike says, “It was there, in that community, where the gospel became real, tangible and relevant to my everyday life.  That church became my family.  They were my friends.  And it was there where I learned I can really open up and be honest about my life.  When that happens the gospel breaks in with power to really change us.”

Mike is very competitive and loves to play sports.  He can think of nothing more relaxing than a hike by a stream, a swim in a waterfall or a weekend camping trip.

Mike graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary with an MDiv in 1998.  He has a BA in Architecture from Temple University.  And he worked in carpentry and construction for many years.
